The Conseil Régional d'Aquitaine (Aquitaine regional council) supports the Opquast program within its aid to the development of innovative services of public interest. By enabling the elaboration and distribution of standards in accessibility, ergonomics and content quality of websites as well as maintenance and editorial best practices, Opquast contributes to a widespread and long term appropriation of information technology and the innovations that it provides. The Aquitaine region supports creativity and development of tools, platforms or actions which, through innovation encourage an equal access to information technology for all.
